As you may or may not know Mackinac Island is famous clearly for its fudge and no vehicles BUT did you know a famous movie was filmed there? Yes Somewhere In Time. Filmed at the Grand Hotel and the island in 1979 and released in 1980. Somewhere In Time stars Jane Seymour, Christopher Reeve and Christopher Plummer.

The Grand Hotel hosts a full weekend to this movie. To carry on its legacy and nostalgic hold on the island. The dates are always in October. This year it falls on Oct 7-9. The package at the Grand includes this:
